Patton & Fisher
1886 (demolished 1917-19, 1968) 3322 Armour Avenue (now Federal Street)
Armour Flats was a 194-unit apartment building constructed to house Armour meatpacking company employees. It later provided living quarters for Armour Institute faculty. In 1907, six sections of the building were christened Chapin Hall for use by Armour Institute. When the majority of the building was torn down in 1917 and 1919, Chapin Hall remained. Chapin Hall and the Physics Building were demolished in 1968.
